Miranda, a kinesiologist and clinical exercise specialist by trade, dedicated two decades to the non-profit sector, where she used her expertise to support individuals living with compromised mobility. Her unique approach, combining her love for people and nature with the power of visual media, helped her tell compelling stories that secured crucial funding for health and wellness programs and services nationwide. 

In 2008, as the country faced an economic downturn, Miranda's job was eliminated. Reflecting on this turning point, she remembers feeling "gutted and kicked out on the curb," but also recognized it as a new path forward. With the digital world rapidly evolving, her distinctive style of portraiture was already gaining traction. She decided to follow her creative instincts, taking a leap of faith into full-time photography. In a moment of both personal and national chaos, she posed a question to herself that would shift her journey: "If not now, then when?" That resolve gave birth to Blossom Blue Studios.
